Accepts TSA Latches

Everyone has experienced today's airport check-in ritual. Frustrating, exhausting and unfortunately necessary. The design gurus at SKB once again lead the industry by designing cases that accept field installable TSA recognized locking latches as optional equipment. TSA latches allow the traveler to securely lock their cases and still allow airport security to perform a contents inspection, then simply re-lock the case. Painless, efficient, safe!

ATA Rated

ATA (Air Transport Association) specification 300, category 1 is the highest standard for an airline transport container (a minimum of 100 common carrier trips). Category II has a minimum of 10 trips by air.

Built-in Pull Handle
Durable Injection molded retractable pull handle for easy manuerving.

Built-in Wheels or Casters
Includes either our 3SKB-CAST1 quick release 4" casters with mounting plates and hardare, or comes with heavy duty built-in wheels standard.

Cubed Foam
Layers of 1" thick foam 3/4" dye cut squares for customizing the interior.

Injection Molded
The process of taking plastic at room temperature, heating it to a fluid state, forcing the material into a cavity that is the negative shape of the desired product, allowing the material to solidify, then remove the part from the mold.
