SKB Corporation has expanded its range of Deluxe Guitar cases again with their new SKB-58 Flying V® style case. Unlike a conventional, rectangular shaped guitar case, the new SKB-58 Flying V employs the distinctive design that mirrors the actual shape of this unique instrument.
The SKB-58 Flying V case is designed to fit 1958-present Flying V type guitars from various manufacturers including Gibson®, Epiphone®, Jackson®, Dean®, Ibanez®, etc.
The SKB-58 Flying V® case features plush lining to cover the molded EPS foam interior that cradles the guitar and provides neck support. The case also feaatures a convenient accessory compartment for carrying extra strings, picks or guitar cables. The exterior is constructed from a nearly indestructible molded ABS polymer that has been engineered to provide the ultimate protection during transportation of your delicate instrument while on the road.
“We wanted to give Flying V® owners a distinctive case that not only protects their instrument, but provides a case that architecturally complements the design of this unique instrument,” stated Steph Maffei, SKB Product Manager. “Now when a guitarist walks into the gig, or down the street carrying their distinctive guitar, other guitarists will know instantly what type of instrument they play — these cases are extremely cool.”
As with all other SKB Deluxe Guitar cases, these cases include TSA recognized and accepted/patented SKB trigger locking latch that enables the user to safely lock the case and still have it inspected by airline security personnel. SKB is the only case manufacturer to include TSA approved locks allowing TSA screeners to unlock cases for security checks. Additional features include a nearly indestructible injection molded rubber-over-molded cushioned carrying handle; injection molded feet and bumper protected valance; and like all SKB cases, the new SKB-58 Flying V case is covered by SKB’s acclaimed Million Mile Guaranty™(Lifetime Warranty).
