Independent Lab Confirms SKB 50 Percent Stronger than Offshore Cases

CRT Laboratories, Inc. (UL Registered ISO 9002/ISO 17025 Compliant) confirmed in recent independent laboratory tests that SKB cases are 50% stronger than leading non-North American made cases.
Using the standard Gardner Impact testing methods, which measures the failure of materials upon relationship to height (inches) and energy (height + weight), CRT Laboratories, Inc. President, Ken A. LeJeune signed the results of the experiment conducted October 30, 2003. Using a 5/8" impactor, with a 4 lb weight, test results showed SKB's mean failure to occur at 50% greater height than offshore cases. The average height where offshore cases failed was 5.9", versus 8.9" on average for the SKB case. The offshore case measured .085 - .105" thick, while the SKB case measured .095 – .105" thick.
