The Pro Audio District Manager at Guitar Center, Manchester, CT shared a story with an SKB Customer Service representative while visiting the store. He stated that he bought an SKB-18 Acoustic Guitar Case for his Martin guitar. He also has a Yamaha acoustic and when he bought the SKB-18 he switched cases and put the Yamaha in the chipboard Martin case. A few weeks later his apartment, which has a basement, was flooded and the SKB-18 was floating around in the water with the Martin guitar safe and DRY while the Yamaha guitar was damaged for the soaked chipboard case.
