SKB brand hardshell cases are fully warranted against defects in materials and craftsmanship for the life of the case to the original owner. That means, if your case breaks, SKB will supply replacement parts, repair the case, or replace your case for as long as you own it. Proof of Purchase is required for all warranty claims. Electronic components in SKB brand hardshell pedalboard systems are warranted for five years from date of purchase. Soft cases and gig bags are warranted for one year from date of purchase. SKB is not responsible for the shipping cost to our facility. However, SKB will cover all of the costs of repairs and/or replacements, as well as the return shipping. To request a return authorization for a warranty claim or field replaceable parts, please contact our customer service department through our online Support Request form. SKB hardshell cases are warranted for life to the original owner only. Cases used rental purposes, used by institutions or schools, modified or used cases are not covered by this warranty.

How do I register for the $1500 content coverage?
You will need your original receipt and a valid claim from the airline. You will only need to contact SKB in the event of an actual warranty claim.
Only two guitar cases are covered by the $1500 content coverage, the 1SKB-44RW Bass Safe and the 1SKB-18RW Roto-molded Acoustic Hardshell Guitar case with wheels.
How do I register my case or rack for the lifetime warranty?
You may register yourself as the original owner of the case or rack at SKB Music Division Product Registration.
How do I request replacement parts?
Original owners of SKB brand hardshell cases may order replacement parts online at no cost and with free shipping. To request field replaceable parts please visit the SKB Store for instructions. You will receive a discount code for use at the SKB Store equal to the online price of the replacement parts you need.
How long will a repair take?
A repair usually takes about two weeks from the time we receive your case.
Is it possible to update my older case with the new TSA latches?
No. Only newer SKB products are designed to accommodate this new latch. Older model cases can not be retrofitted.
What do I have to do before I return my case for repair?
Contact our Customer Service Department at email@example.com or 800-410-2024 for a Return Authorization Number. Please have the model number of the case on hand.
Where will I find my model number on my case?
It is not on your case. You will find the number on your original proof of purchase receipt.
