The Ultimate guitar case line continues with the introduction of the 3i-4214-PRS Watertight Injection molded guitar case. The 3i-4214-PRS will fit any of the following PRS styles: McCarty, CE (22/24 Fret), Standard (22/24 Fret), Custom (22/24 Fret), Single Cut, Santana, MIRA, STARLA (w/o Bigsby). Basically every shape PRS offers will fit in this one case.
3i Series injection molded waterproof cases are constructed of ultra high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin and feature a gasketed, waterproof and airtight, submersible design (IP67) that is resistant to corrosion and impact damage. Its molded-in hinge, patented "trigger release" latch system with TSA recognized and accepted locks, four reinforced locking loops for customer supplied locks,comfortable, snap-down rubber over-molded cushion grip handles, secure stacking, and automatic ambient pressure equalization valve (MIL-STD-648C) all contribute to its military grade design.
The plush interior provides total neck support and protection on all sides.

How do I register for the $1500 content coverage? |
|
|
You will need your original receipt and a valid claim from the airline. You will only need to contact SKB in the event of an actual warranty claim.
Only two guitar cases are covered by the $1500 content coverage, the 1SKB-44RW Bass Safe and the 1SKB-18RW Roto-molded Acoustic Hardshell Guitar case with wheels.

How do I register my case or rack for the lifetime warranty? |

You may register yourself as the original owner of the case or rack at SKB Music Division Product Registration.

How do I request replacement parts? |
|
|
Original owners of SKB brand hardshell cases may order replacement parts online at no cost and with free shipping. To request field replaceable parts please visit the SKB Store for instructions. You will receive a discount code for use at the SKB Store equal to the online price of the replacement parts you need.

How long will a repair take? |
|
|
A repair usually takes about two weeks from the time we receive your case.
|
|
|
Is it possible to update my older case with the new TSA latches? |
|
|
No. Only newer SKB products are designed to accommodate this new latch. Older model cases can not be retrofitted.

What do I have to do before I return my case for repair? |
|
|
Contact our Customer Service Department at customerservice@skbcases.com or 800-410-2024 for a Return Authorization Number. Please have the model number of the case on hand.

Where will I find my model number on my case? |
|
|
It is not on your case. You will find the number on your original proof of purchase receipt.

 SKB brand hardshell cases are fully warranted against defects in materials and craftsmanship for the life of the case to the original owner. That means, if your case breaks, SKB will either supply replacement parts, repair the case, or replace the case at no cost to you for as long as you own the case. Most locks, handles and wheels have been made field replaceable and will be supplied to you at no charge. (Electronic components in SKB brand hardshell pedalboard systems are warranted for five years from date of purchase.) To request a return authorization for damaged Music Cases, please contact our customer service department at customerservice@skbcases.com. To request field replaceable parts please email customerservice@skbcases.com. You will be given instructions on how to visit the SKB Store to order parts directly at no charge. SKB hardshell cases are warranted for life to the original owner only. Cases for rental purposes, modified or re-sold cases are not covered by this warranty.
Freight cost to SKB Corporation is the responsibility of the customer. SKB will pay the return freight for warranty product shipped back to the customer. |
