ATA 50 Caliber Rifle Case
SKB Corporation has developed a new case to accommodate 50 Caliber rifles and all of the gear that is needed for a day at the range.
The new 2SKB-6019 ATA 50 Caliber Case is a polyethylene molded shell with weather resistant 0-ring seal for moisture protection and features SKB’s bumper protected patented trigger release latches and locking hasps for a customer supplied lock. This case is covered under SKB’s Unconditional Lifetime Warranty as well as the $1500 content coverage if your gun is damaged by the airlines.
The interior of the case measures 56” L x 17”W x 5” D and features a high density PE and convoluted foam interior for cushioned protection with three sets of nylon cinch strap tie downs for gun securement. SKB’s design engineers even provided four sets of cinch strap tie downs to secure boxes of shells, extra clips and bi-pod with plenty of room to store extra gear when traveling to a shoot. Comfortable spring loaded handles and wide-tracking wheels provide for easy transport of your 50 caliber equipment. The case color runs through the material so scratches are invisible and the “poly” is impervious to all solvents, oils, fuels and acids. This case also exceeds ATA specification 300 category 1, the highest standard for an airline transport container (a minimum of the 100 trips by air).

The new 3i-5014-DR MIL STD Watertight Injection Molded Double Rifle case interior cavity features a fabric lining with molded EPS lid and base liners for structural strength as well as rifle separation. Strategically placed compression foam pads in the bottom and lid of the case prevent rifle movement inside the case.

SKB Corporation’s design engineers have expanded the Hunter Series of cases with the 2SKB-5114 Hunter Double Rifle/Shotgun Case. This double rifle/shotgun case offers great design and maintains SKB’s superior quality while responding to market pressures and price considerations.
The exterior of the 2SKB-5114 Hunter Series Double Rifle/Shotgun case is manufactured of Mil-spec high density polyethylene plastic with molded-in bumpers to protect hardware from impact and features an embossed rib and cradle pattern to provide strength and secure stackablility. SKB’s “Perfect-Match” valance bending system provides a tight and secure fit to prevent dirt, dust and moisture from the interior of the case. The heavy-duty military style black butterfly metal latches keep the case closed and, may be locked with a customer-supplied padlock.
