ORANGE, CA -- Industry-leading case manufacturer SKB Cases has announced that another trio of 3R Series case sizes will be added into their continuously growing lineup. Like all 3R Series models, the new 3R4035-5, 3R7408-8, and 3R8608-8 are Mil-SPEC, waterproof, and made in the USA. With the addition of these new models, the total number of SKB's 3R Series case sizes increases to 32.
The new 3R4035-5, 3R7408-8, and 3R8608-8 were designed to meet the most demanding military specifications and have been meticulously engineered to provide maximum strength, durability, and functionality for a variety of industries and applications.
Roto-molded of Linear Medium-density Polyethylene (LMDPE) plastic, each new 3R Series case size features a gasket-sealed, water and dust tight, submersible design (MIL-STD 810G / IP67). Other standard features include comfortable, solid stainless steel latches and hinges, spring-loaded rubber over-molded cushion grip handles, an automatic ambient pressure equalization valve (MIL-STD-648C), and resistance to UV, solvents, corrosion, fungus and impact damage (MIL-STD-810G).
